Chiefs @ Raiders Saturday: Raiders’ curtain call

With the loss, the Raiders are now finished for the year with a 6-11 final record on the season. Their season will be remembered for the close losses. However, Josh Jacobs finished the season with a good chance to lead the NFL in rushing yards.

That’s a matter that will be settled with the conclusion of the remaining games, however, Jacobs is the clear favorite with a huge lead heading into Sunday. Jacobs was a late-October pick of ours to lead the NFL in rushing yards this season at 11/2.

That the Raiders had Jacobs in a career year as their RB1 and Davonte Adams among the receivers will likely serve to discredit Derek Carr and maybe the coaching staff. They seemed to have the chess pieces they needed to win but rarely set their opponent up for a checkmate sequence.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs improved to 14-3 with the 18-point victory. The victory means that they will be the top seed in their conference. They will be inactive next week while the other playoff qualifiers will be battling in Wild Card Weekend.

Patrick Mahomes passes for 202 yards

Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs was the winning quarterback in the game. He had 202 passing yards in the outing and his ratio of TDs to INTs was 1 to 0. Mahomes had a passer rating of 105.0.

On the other side, Jarrett Stidham of the Raiders was the losing quarterback in the game. He had 219 passing yards in the outing and his ratio of TDs to INTs was 1 to 1. Stidham had a passer rating of 76.0 as he made a plug for himself to be worthy of future work as a starting QB.
