After the Nuggets swept the Lakers, Miami hopes they can replicate the fact tonight by sweeping the Celtics

The Miami Heat hosts the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals Game 4 tonight. And as they lead the series 3-0, the Heat is only one win away from the NBA Finals. If they manage to win tonight and make it to the finals, they will face the Denver Nuggets, who swept the Lakes in the Western Conference Finals and are already there.

In fact, Miami is trying to replicate the 4-0 in the series from the Denver Nuggets. If that happens, it is going to be the first time in NBA history that both Conference Finals have one team sweeping their opponents and closing the series 4-0 in the same season.

On the other side, the Boston Celtics not only want to avoid that from happening but also are trying to have a miraculous comeback in this series. Right now they have odds +750 to win the East, which implicates an 11.8% chance. Based on the last three games, that’s still a lot for them.

The only actual name listed for tonight’s matchup is Kevin Love, from the Miami Heat, who is dealing with a leg injury. But he is listed as probable.
