The playoff and play-in scenario is almost set in the East. The Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards last night and clinch their spot in the play-in tournament as the Brooklyn Nets also won. Because of that, Atlanta can’t make it directly to the playoffs anymore.
There is only one thing to yet be decided in the East: the last playoff spot. And now, only the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat have chances. One is going to the playoffs, the other to the play-in tournament. Miami plays tonight against the 76ers and if they lose, everything will be decided.
About last night’s game, the Hawks won all four quarters of the game and in the end, beat the Wizards 134-116. Trae Young had a great double-double with 25 points and 16 assists. John Collins also scored 23 points for the Wizards. On the loser’s side, Daniel Gafford also recorded a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
