New England may start Brian Hoyer
The injury could thrust QB2 Brian Hoyer into a starting role in Week 4. Hoyer is 36 years old and he barely touched the ball in 2021/22. He was 9 for 11 on the season for 227 yards last year. The last time Hoyer had any kind of significant snap count was back in the 2017 season.
The Packers have not looked sharp at all points of this current season. Their Week 1 loss may be all that's keeping them from the top of our NFL Power Rankings. However, the Packers managed a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. The game was a defensive battle but the Packers should enjoy better field position in Week 4. You would expect a large-spread victory for the Packers against a New England team playing Hoyer as a starting quarterback.

They are set at -6.5 as they prepare to host the Jacksonville Jaguars in what could be a tricky game. The spreads have generally been tight in the NFL for the last two weeks.
