The Washington Commanders are not a franchise without willpower. They definitely want to find a winning formula. Whether that will involve Heinecke or Wentz is questionable. The franchise seems to be leaning toward Sam Howell as its starting quarterback (Zach Selby/Commanders).
Washington made news recently as they signed Eric Bieniemy as their offensive coordinator. Bieniemy joins the Commanders after a winning tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs in the same role.
That development, signing Bieniemy, has not changed Washington's complexion as an underdog all that much. They remain out at 28/1 to win their conference with bet365. Those odds make them the 13th team overall in the market.
