The 2022-23 NBA season is over. Last night the Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals and they are now the 2023 Champions, closing the series 4-1. With a 94-89 win, the Nuggets showed how much better of a team they are and won the Larry O’Brien trophy for the first time in franchise history.

Once again the game was very low-scoring. And at the end, the Nuggets won again at home and closed the whole 2023 Playoffs with only one loss in Denver, in Game 2 of the Finals, versus the Miami Heat.

After a hard first half, Denver went back to the locker rooms trailing by seven points, losing by 51-44. In the second half not only the Nuggets played better but also Miami played worse. Because of that, they were able to overcome the first-half deficit and finish the game with a 5-point lead.
