The LA Clippers broke their losing streak on Tuesday night when they hosted the Dallas Mavericks. The Clippers, despite the fact that they were missing Paul George, won the game in a contest that was not close as time expired. They put up a double-digit margin of victory in the game, winning by 12 points. The final score was Dallas 101, and LA 113 in a disappointing result for the Mavericks, a team that has been winning most of their games lately.

Mavericks @ Clippers Tuesday: Luka Doncic scores 43

With the loss, the Mavericks are now 23-19 overall on the season. This is a team that continues to struggle on the road as they fell to 7-13 as visitors on the season. They have generally played well of late, however, they still are not keeping pace with the Memphis Grizzlies in the Southwest Division.

The top scorer in the game was Luka Doncic, a player that started the day as questionable. He had a very impressive 43 points in the contest and 11 rebounds to continue his MVP-like season.

But at just 23-19 on the season, questions about Doncic’s supporting cast will surely be raised in the weeks that lead up to the NBA’s trade deadline. They probably should have been more competitive in this game given that they received a strong scoring output from Doncic and given that the Clippers were without PG.
