Celtics trying to force Game 6

After avoiding being swept last Tuesday, Boston still needs to avoid being eliminated tonight in Game 5

ThePicks

There is only one series to be decided before the NBA Finals begins, on June 1st. And this series is the Eastern Conference Finals, between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat. Surprisingly, Miami won the first three games, including two on the road. But after staying alive in Game 4, Boston forced Game 5, today, as they are trailing 3-1. Now the Celtics are trying to force Game 6.

In order to do that, Boston will have to do something they haven’t done yet in this series: win a home game. The series is back to Boston and the Celtics will have to take advantage of the home factor to keep the dream of a comeback alive.

On the other hand, Miami wants to close this series as soon as possible and avoid being the first team ever to blow a 3-0 lead in the history of the NBA. They will count once again on Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo to do that. Who will win tonight? We will have a Game 6? Let’s find out tonight.

Injury Report

Malcolm Brogdon appeared on the Boston Celtics injury report. According to The Athletic’s Jared Weiss, Brogdon is playing with a partially torn tendon in his elbow. It is not clear whether he is playing or not, but he is not 100% healthy. For Miami, Gabe Vincent is out for tonight’s game with an ankle sprain.

Bets

The must-win is the greatest factor tonight. Boston has a better team and literally can’t lose tonight, and they are playing at home. Because of all that, they are favourites by 7.5 points. It should be hard for us to see another blowout tonight, which makes this spread a little too much. The over/under is fair, set at 215.5 points. Check the predictions for this game.
