Celtics close series and advance

After losing the chance to go through on Game 5, Boston beat the Hawks and win series 4-2 in Game 6


Last night the NBA met the sixth of eight teams qualified for the Second-Round of the NBA Playoffs. The Boston Celtics joined the Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and Miami Heat as they managed to close the series against the Atlanta Hawks in 4-2 to advance to the next stage.

After opening 3-1 in the series, the Celtics had the chance to qualify in Game 5, but they fell at home and saw the Hawks getting the second W. Yesterday, playing in Atlanta, Boston managed to beat the Hawks by 128-120, winning the game and closing the series. Now they face the Philadelphia 76ers in the Conference Semifinals.

The game was excellent and very close. After an absolutely levelled first half, which the Celtics won by 68-67, the teams came to a second half where the Hawks took the lead after the third period, entering the final quarter winning by 100-98. In the fourth quarter, the Hawks only scored 20 points and saw the visitors getting the lead back and winning the game.

Both teams scored a lot of points. The Celtics had 30+ points in all four quarters of the game, while the Hawks only didn`t score 30+ in the last period. With 248 total points, they easily passed the 229.5 points mark of the over/under. Boston also helped those who bet on their spread, which was -7, as they won by 8 points.

Best Performances

The game had a lot of great individual numbers, especially from the stars of the game. Jaylen Browns, Jayson Tatum and Trae Young had all 30+ points in the game. We also had incredible five double-doubles. Check out all the numbers of the match.
