Celtics and Heat deciding the East

After a great Game 1 on the West Finals, it is time for Boston and Miami to start their battle for the Conference

The NBA has only four teams left, and they are fighting for two spots in the NBA Finals. In the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets started the series with the advantage in a great game last night. And today the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat start deciding who is going to win the East.

After the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated, the Boston Celtics are the team with the best regular-season record left in the league. They are also the favourites to win the NBA Finals prior to the beginning of the Conference Finals. To get to this point of the season they had to knock out the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st-Round (4-2) and the Philadelphia 76ers in the Conference Semifinals (4-3).

On the other side, Miami is probably the biggest underdog to get to the Conference Finals. They were only the #8 seed in the East after the regular season. They even lost their first Play-In Tournament Game. But after beating the Chicago Bulls in the second Play-In match, they managed to eliminate the great favourites Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st-Round (4-1) and the New York Knicks in the Conference Semifinals (4-2).

Injury Report

There is only one player listed on the Injury Report for this game. Cody Zeller is dealing with an illness and is listed as questionable for the Miami Heat tonight. The Boston Celtics are fully healthy for the match.
