With the loss, the Jazz are now 17-16 on the season. The Jazz were missing their normal starting center, Kelly Olynyk, in the game. That led to an uptick in minutes and a start for Walker Kessler. Neither he nor any Jazz player got to double digits for rebounding in the game. But the top scorer in the game was Lauri Markkanen. He had 24 points in the contest and a team-high six rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers improved to 21-11 with the 23-point victory. They now have a home record of 15-2 on the season, a record that will be hard for bettors to go against in the future. Donovan Mitchell, formerly of the Utah Jazz, was the high scorer for the Cavaliers. He had 23 points in the victory to help keep the momentum up with Cleveland.
