The Buffalo Bills improved to 3-1 on the season. They defeated the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 23-20. The result sees Buffalo improve to 3-1 on the season while the Ravens fall to 2-2.

Betting Recap: how our recommendations did

This was a game where we didn’t have a lot to say. However, we felt that Baltimore’s handicap of +3.5 was big enough to take. They looked like they were going to win for parts of this game. In the end, the handicappers with Baltimore took the win down with not even a half-point to spare.

Game Recap: Quarterbacking fails

The game could be noted as one where two touted quarterbacks both played very average games. Lamar Jackson had 73 yards rushing for Baltimore but only 144 in the air. Josh Allen was just 19 for 36 on passing and only threw for a total of 213 yards.

Matt Milano was key defensively for the Buffalo Bills. He had 11 tackles and two more for losses in the game.

The Ravens aren’t looking like they are into this season as an elite team at this point. At 2-2, both of their losses are against strong teams. However, Baltimore doesn’t quite look like a Super Bowl threat through the early weeks.

Meanwhile, this result was a nice bounceback win for the Bills. They lost to Miami in Week 3 and needed to beat the Ravens to stay high in Week 5’s NFL Power Rankings.

Next up for Buffalo is a winnable game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals, a game that looks key in the division.
