The NFL will be back in the UK this weekend. The Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars will meet across the ocean in an early game on Sunday. Both teams are 2-5 on the season, neither appear high in NFL power rankings, and both are at risk of becoming fringe teams in the playoff picture with a loss. The Jags are the midweek favorites for the game, set at -2.5 with Unibet sportsbook.

Jacksonville’s injury report for Week 8

The Jaguars have a very limited injury report. Wide receiver Jamal Agnew was limited in practice on Wednesday and that was the only injury news that the Jags had to report. It’s not uncommon for a player that is limited early in the week to improve over the course of the week.

Meanwhile, the Broncos listed nine names on their report. That included defensive lineman Mike Purcell and quarterback Russell Wilson. Purcell was a non-participant in practice on Wednesday while Wilson was limited with a hamstring injury.

The news with Wilson is that he seems optimistic about playing in Week 8. However, he has yet to have a really good game since joining the Denver Broncos. He has just 1,442 passing yards on the season, which barely puts him inside of the Top 20 in the NFL. Furthermore, Wilson is just 5-3 on touchdowns to INTs this season and his QBR is down at 35.9.

The reports are practice reports and do not include players that have been placed on injured reserve. However, the Jaguars still appear to be in much better shape than the Broncos at this point in the week.
