The Turkish roster of Space Soldiers Counter Global Offensive team has announced its departure from the organisation. Space Soldiers has been home to several of the Turkish players and was the best Turkish team in CS: GO. The team itself has had on and off performances in the past but have failed to maintain consistency throughout their careers. Regardless, they did manage to secure 4th place at the recent Blast Pro Series, Istanbul. However, apart from this tournament, the roster has not had much success in recent months. The reason stated for their decision is due to differences in the long-term plans of the roster.

Space Soldiers recently participated in the FaceIT London major with their coach as a stand-in. Ngin was unable to attend the Major due to visa issues and despite having their coach as a stand-in, Space Soldiers did put forth some strong performances. Their overtime loss to Renegades was definitely a very close one for the team and the one which saw their elimination from the FaceIT London Major 2018.
What’s next for the roster?

The Space Soldiers players will be on the search for a new organisation.
For now, the team has not announced any details of a new organisation or any negotiations either. They are one of the better teams from the country and we do not doubt that they will be picked up by another organisation very soon.
We don’t know whether the roster will stick together in its current form or the players wil go their separate ways. The lack of results in the past few months definitely might be a push towards other teams and opportunities.
The team will play under the name of ex-Space Soldiers for now. The current members of ‘ex-Space Soldiers’ are:
- Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli
- Ahmet “paz” Karahoca
- Buğra “Calyx” Arkın
- Engin “ngiN” Kor
- Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş
- Coach – Canpolat “hardstyle” Yıldıran.
