Blizzcon 2019 is less than a week away, and every statement by Blizzard seems to have leaked this year ahead of schedule. The latest leak is world Warcraft, with the World of Warcraft Classic being released again. In particular, the new expansion of the game appears to have gone out. The next expansion that will come to the long-term MMO is Shadowland and has the Lich King characteristics, if the leak is legitimate–it emphasizes if so.
The sources of the leak are currently unclear, but it contains items that, as you will remember, have also leaked because Diablo 4 has been involved.
Sadly this leak does not disclose many details, although it does have a picture of a new Lich King who speculates with fans. For example, where are the fire eyes of the Lich King? Can this mean that Nerzhul has regained control? Or the ears are perhaps a symbol of the Scourge’s passage of Bolvar. Sadly, all we can do at the moment is speculate.
This one should obviously be taken with a grain of salt, like any leak. This could very well be a fake in the era of photoshop wizardry. That said, Blizzard was a very leaky boat recently, as described above. Furthermore, Diablo 4 has leaked several times, and even Overwatch 2 (more on this).
On 1 November 2019, Blizzcon will probably feature some of the biggest World of Warcraft updates. And, even if that’s not legal, fans of World of Warcraft will have to chew on soon.
