Recently, players have voiced their displeasure and discomfort over the facilities at the hotel. Ranging from brown water, broken roofs, Mice running around the experience has been traumatic for many of the players. Some teams such as Cloud9 have changed the hotels and moved on to another hotel at their own expense. However, this is not a solution as many of the National teams are without sponsors.
WESG brings together national teams from various countries battling it out for a huge prize pool. Held in China, the tournament has slowly been gaining fame with the level of competition rising in the tournament.

WESG have released a statement regarding the problems to the players. Their original hotel backed out at the last moment which caused a lot of problems for the event and teams concerned.
I believe personally WESG is a great thing for esports, only problem however.. is that We don’t use fully nationally lineup anymore 🤔🤷♂️
WCG back in days where something you were Aiming for to compete in, it gave you pride to attend and play for your country in a way..
