Twitch will be moving to Europe as they will host an additional TwitchCon in Europe early next year. The event is scheduled to take place from April 13 to April 14th. It will take place at the CityCube in the German capital. It will have the same format as TwitchCon in California with huge streamers, developers, sponsors and fans in attendance. Traditionally TwitchCon has always taken place in North America. However, it would be a tough task for streamers to go all the way to North America for the event.
Moving the event to Europe [ or hosting an additional event ] was a long-standing demand by streamers and fans. With this move, Twitch is definitely catering to their fan-base. Twitch will ‘tailor’ the event for English, German and French fans.
With an amazing TwitchCon 2018 behind us, we just knew we couldn’t wait an entire year to do it all over again.
So we’re not going to.
In 2019, make room for a second TwitchCon! On 13-14 April, join us in taking over the CityCube Berlin in Germany for the first-ever TwitchCon Europe. It’ll be the same celebration of creators, fans, and everything else we love about Twitch — but much, much closer to our European community.
Now that #TwitchCon 2018 is over, we knew we couldn’t wait a whole year to do it all again. So we’re not going to.

This year’s event in California was a sold-out event. It saw attendance from several streamers and thousands of fans. TwitchCon 2018 was also host to the Fortnite Autumn Skirmish finals. Dennis “Cloak” Lepore and Turner “Tfue” Tenney won the event and took home $400,000 in prize winnings.
Twitch will release further details of the schedule, format and tickets at a later date.
