CSGO tournament formats have always been under scrutiny especially since we have seen strong teams in contention bow out of tournaments due to the format. One such format has been pointed out by Thoorin. He mentions how Astralis who have won more games than Gambit failed to progress through the tournament while Gambit moved on with just two wins under their belt. While this does not definitively mean that Gambit are worse than Astralis ( with their coach); however a team should be winning more matches to proceed.
Astralis, who used their coach for a game, won more games than Gambit, who made the play-offs, yet failed to progress.
A flaw in that format.
