Recently there were rumours of an Australian OWL Franchise in the talks. However, it seems the Melbourne Franchise might only be added by Season 3. This would also be the first year where all the franchises are required to have their own stadiums and venues for hosting matches.
Update on the Australia OWL franchise rumours. Source has told me that bidders are looking at Melbourne for a franchise. Season two is looking unlikely, but watch this space for season three.
