The Starseries & I-League Season 7 is set to take place from April 30 to May 7. The tournament will take place at the Kiev Cybersport Arena in Ukraine. It will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $500,000. The organisers have announced three more teams invited to the event. Joining the existing list of teams will be ENCE, Faze Clan and North in Ukraine.
The three teams do have a lot to prove at this event. ENCE are the winners of Starseries & I-League Season 6. Their performance at the event was fabulous, it brought them onto the big stage. It was also a showcase for players like AleksiB and Sergej. These players are very young and they have a bright future ahead of them.

Faze Clan lacks results in the recent months. Niko’s latest allegations against Astralis even portray the desperation of the team to win. Faze Clan consists of several well-known and skilled players. But their inability to win important matches and tournaments is definitely a telling sign for the team. They need to start winning tournaments. While this tournament itself is quite some time away, we can expect Faze Clan to be a top contender at this event.
North is currently struggling with their performance. The team is unable to progress further even against teams such as NIP. Watching NIP and others climb through the rankings while North remains stagnant is really worrying for North fans. The team lacks cohesion right now. They will have time to improve before the start of this tournament, which is still a few months away.
Six slots remaining
The tournament still has six slots remaining out of sixteen. Three of these slots will be via direct invites to the event. The remaining three will be filled by teams via three online qualifiers. The three qualifiers from different regions [ Asian, North American and European ] will provide an opportunity for amateur teams.
Starseries & I-League Season 7 starts in April and will be streamed live on Twitch.
