Former Team Gigantti player Robert “shadder2k” Mocanu has released a public statement regarding his current situation. The DPS player who has made a name for himself via his Genji plays has been in multiple Overwatch teams in the past. His Genji playstyle is extremely efficient and one of the better plays in the game.
The public statement comes after several days of speculations and confusion over his whereabouts. The player is one of the well-recognised Overwatch players not in the overwatch League.

Shadder2k’s Statement.
Hey guys, I know I’ve been pretty quiet this half of the year and I know there’s some people out there who are worried about me so I decided it’s time for some sort of explanation of what’s been going on with me.
As some of you know I have been dealing with hand/wrist pain for a pretty long time now and since contenders ended it’s been very bad to the point where I can’t really do anything computer related without unbearable pain. It started at the beginning of the year gradually getting worse as time went by. I’ve tried a lot of treatments and went to different doctors but still at this point I still don’t know what the exact problem is and how to fix it. This also affects my mental state pretty badly since I was so focused on playing in contenders and trying to get into OWL and streaming for you guys but I couldn’t anymore.
Anyway, I’m not gonna go into much more detail. If any of you have been through this and have any advice for me you can dm me, it would be appreciated. I don’t know when I’ll be back, I want to return once I am fully able to play and healed, I just hope it won’t be too late for me at that point.
But yea, thank you guys for the support.
Shadder2k is still suffering from the wrist injury. For the time being, there seems to be no viable solution for the player’s woes. We do hope that with time, he is able to find the problem and resolve it as soon as possible. The Romanian player has a promising future and will definitely make his presence felt in the Overwatch League one day.
