The Overwatch League came to a conclusion recently with London Spitfire winning the Grand Finals. The Overwatch League is Blizzard’s attempts at an esports league. The League’s performance has exceeded expectations from the franchise owners as well as the fans. Overwatch used to garner around 20-40,000 viewers in its regular esports scene. But the Overwatch League definitely ballooned the viewership count to the tune of almost a 100,000. It appears Serena Williams, the celebrated female Tennis player is also a fan of Overwatch league.
