Overwatch League is probably one of the first esports titles to make esports mainstream. it is a way to ensure that esports gains recognition and is widely accepted. The Overwatch League just concluded its first season with London Spitfire winning the Season 1. The Cloud9 owned organization definitely had a few followers. Celebrities and actors have invoked keen interest in the Overwatch League
