The Format
PEL is divided into three phases. The first will last three weeks while the rest will last for eight weeks each. Week One consists of four game days, each of which will hold five matches. The prize fund of the first phase will be $ 225 thousand, the second and third – $ 350 thousand. In addition to money, teams will also play for PEL points, which will determine the fate of slots at international tournaments at the end of each phase.
After the first and second stages, the four best teams will receive slots in global tournaments from third-party organizers. The first major will be the FACEIT Global Summit, which begins April 21. The second major will take place in July. The final championship will be the “All-Star Game”, which is going to take place in August. The best teams on the basis of the league standings will compete for the World Cup, the prize fund of which will be two million dollars.

Changes to The system
PEL will not be like all other tournaments. Earlier in the championships from PUBG Corp., the largest role was played by the results of the round. The higher the team was, the more points it received. Now everything is different. For each kill, the team earns one point, while the first place team gets 10 points.
Such a system contributes to a more active game: Teams will be forced to act more aggressively in order to make more kills and get more points for it. First of all, it will change the old meta, and the teams will have to adapt to it. Viewers of this competition should also love it, as the teams on the map will be more aggressive, and the games will be more spectacular.
The first day ended with @TSM on the top after some incredible performances.

The second feature of the league is the possible fix of bugged mechanics. As it is known, in PUBG an element of unpredictability: Loot appears on the map randomly, which does not always allow the players to find the right weapon. However, the unexpected shift of the blue zone can put the team in a difficult position.
The problem of accidentally shifting the blue zone is still relevant. The span of 380 games can minimize the influence of random sites and determine the strongest teams. On the other hand, it is not clear that the teams will be able to withstand so many matches and whether will this feature be interesting to the viewers.
