According to Smooya, the British player in BIG gaming, players are not allowed to wear shorts on stage. This might be in order to make the tournament look a lot more professional. However, this is the first time we have heard of such a diktat.
Update: no shorts allowed:( hopefully I’m allowed to walk out with my flag atleast?:(
