The Overwatch league is into its second week and we are already witnessing a pattern amongst the teams. Teams with a top-heavy coaching style where the there is a clear distinction between the best coaching hierarchy have been doing significantly better so far in the Overwatch League. ofcourse being a new league, Coaches have not had enough time with the teams to put together the best of performances so far. But this is an indication of how a structured team composition can actually help out teams going forth into the OWL.
From what little we know, it seems the top-down teams with strong coaching–Houston, Boston, Valiant & ofc the Koreans–are all performing well, whereas the teams with weaker leadership / more democratic approaches are underperforming.
Interesting trend to follow as OWL goes on.
