OpenAI is the Artifical Intelligence most well known for being able to defeat professional Dota 2 players. OpenAI is backed by several well-known personalities including entrepreneur Elon Musk. It gained fame during TI7 when it managed to defeat the world’s best Dota 2 players in a 1v1, restricted setting. But Dota 2 is much more than a 1v1 setting, it is much more complex than that. The AI has learned after playing several decades worth of gameplay. So now as they look to unleash it into the 5v5 setting it will be interesting to see the route that the AI can develop.
OpenAI Five will be playing a team including @Blitz_DotA @DotACapitalist @Foggeddota @MerliniDota. Games will be streamed on Twitch and casted by @PurgeGamers and @ODPixel.
