Korean esports event organiser OGN has unveiled the first look to its studio in North America. Their venture into North America is a landmark move for the company. In the previous years, OGN has found itself in charge of multiple South Korean events relating to PUBG, Overwatch and League of Legends.
The Arena does not come as a surprise since OGN announced the same back in October 2018. The sole purpose of the arena is to host the National PUBG league. The announcement in October saw OGN partner with PUBG Corp. to host the National PUBG league in North America.
With this event, our U.S. launch is now official and we are very excited to be able to unveil our new arena and studio for fans here and around the world. We can’t wait to show everyone the next phase in this journey.

What is unique about the OGN Super Arena?
The OGN Super Arena is built with the Battle Royale Audience in mind. The game mode has captivated online viewership numbers. However, developing it into an esport has been a huge challenge for all the companies involved. With this super Arena, OGN hopes that hey can provide a different and better visual experience to the game.
Their partnership with PUBG brings them unique insight into what viewers prefer to watch and how they choose to do so. The Arena hosts a 270 degree LED screen wrapping behind the players. It provides the viewers all the necessary action on the big screen. The novel approach to the viewing experience inside the stadium will be a true test for PUBG has an esport. It is necessary for PUBG to develop an esports side in order to secure more growth and investments.
The launch of the tournament with the Alpha Tournament saw 6M views with 3.4M total unique views and over 540K peak concurrent viewers, reports OGN. Ofcourse the attendance of well-known personalities such as Deadmau5, Cloud9 among others helped boost these numbers.
