Esports organisation NRG has announced its new Overwatch roster. The new team includes a steady mix of Overwatch players including the top ranks in some of their individual roles.

The NRG Overwatch roster:

  • Smex
  • Stand1
  • Poise
  • Kevster
  • Byrem
  • HelloImHalo

The inclusion of the likes of Smex and Kevster definitely makes this roster very exciting. They have really good individual plays, however, it remains to be seen how their performance measures upon this team.

The NRG roster will take part in the BEAT Invitational Season 5 which commences from October 19th for a three day period till October 21st.

Toronto Esports signs Dino and Swimmer

Toronto esports has announced two new signings today to their Contenders team. Dino and Swimmer will be joining their team as the supports to the roster. They come from different teams but have excellent individual positioning and movement across the map.

Swimmer is a new face in the Contenders scene and has shown a great deal of hidden potential in his try-outs. He stood out with his vocal shot-calling and his eagerness and willingness to learn, and we are very excited to have him join our club.  Dino is slightly more familiar with the Contenders scene, having a wealth of valuable experience that he can draw on and share with less experienced teammates. He has a great positive mentality and an eager attitude towards the game.

As Swimmer is a young and upcoming talent, and Dino a more experienced player, we are confident they will blend well together as the Toronto Esports Club roster takes shape ahead of an important 3rd Contenders season in North America.  Both players are integrated into team scrims in preparation for the upcoming Beat Invitational season 5 taking place this weekend.

With these additions, the Toronto esports lineup now has ten members. We will see them in action at BEAT Invitational Season 5.

Atlanta Overwatch League team announces Casores as Player Development coach

The Overwatch league is not about using players to provide the best possible results for the team. Atlanta is one of the new Overwatch League teams to join for Season 2. While they have mostly finished their team signings, we have not had an official announcement of their name or roster yet. We expect the same to be public knowledge at Blizzcon 2018.
