Organisations in esports are growing at a frantic pace. It is not uncommon to see one organization acquire another smaller organisation with the hope of growing faster.

NRG recently have acquired Northern Gaming. NRG recently were able to secure a spot at the Overwatch League. The Overwatch League is one of the biggest esports leagues. While Northern Gaming did not have a roster in Overwatch, they were well established in CSGO. With this acquisition, NRG becomes a stronger organistion with better resources at hand.
