Mixwell has voiced his opinion about the current state of Matchmaking. He feels that with Valve not taking enough steps to ensure the viability of their matchmaking system, casual players are slowly turning to other games. He most probably is referring to PUBG which seems to be the new fad in the world of esports. With a very streamer friendly UI, PUBG has garnered huge numbers very soon.

CSGO matchmaking is a complete mess, you can't play the game if you don't use a separate platform.

I wonder how many players they lose because of this, other platforms with good anti-cheats saved a big part of the casual community from leaving to other games… sad.
