Dreamhack is coming to Mumbai for the first time with Dreamhack Mumbai 2018. The tournament will see Dreamhack entering the Indian esports scene for the first time. Their presence in the region definnitely spells a huge boost to Indian esports. After the Optic India fiasco, this could prove to be definitely the shove that will propel India on the path to esports development.
Dreamhack has announced Mineski as the first team to attend Dreamhack Mumbai 2018. The Mineski Dota 2 roster is the best South East Asian team in Dota 2. Formerly including players like Mushi, they were a contender to be a top-tier team in Dota 2. However, recently, Mushi left the team and they have a new roster altogether. The new roster has not had the best results when it comes to success, however, they are not a team to ignore. Dreamhack Mumbai takes place from December 21st till the 23rd of December 2018. The tournament has a prize pool of around $137,000.
