Machine has truly cemented himself as a great TI8 host. Over the years, his knowledge of Dota 2 has grown by leaps and bounds. However, as a host, it is not required of him to display any knowledge of the game. His duties as a host revolve around the players and the emotions surrounding the game. Continuing with last year’s tradition, Alex will also conduct elimination player interviews this year. The job of interviewing players who are eliminated from TI8 will always be a tough one, no matter the team’s expectations for the upcoming event.
