With the Play-Ins of the League of Legends European Masters tournament already concluded, the new stage of the event is ready to begin. Starting today, sixteen different European teams will battle it out to earn a spot at the Finals and a larger share of the €150,000 prize pool.
European Masters Group Stage Begins Today
The European Masters 2018 tournament is beginning its second stage on 17 September and will run for four days, concluding on 20 September the same week. Sixteen teams will take part in the event, separated into four groups of four. Out of those teams, three were brought on based on their performance of the Play-In event that took place the previous week. The other thirteen have won various small-scale tournaments over the last few months. The groups are as follows:

The event will use the Round Robin format, where each team will play against all others in the group. All matches are best-of-one, meaning that teams will only have one chance against a particular opponent. The top two performing teams from each group will be selected to take part in the Knockout Stage, which will determine the winner of the tournament.

The schedule for the first day of play has already been determined and you will be able to watch the following matches:

Where to watch
The event will be streamed on Twitch.tv in a multitude of different languages, while the main broadcast in English will be hosted on the ESL League of Legends channel. Alternative streams can be found in French, German, Spanish, Czech, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and Portuguese. Additionally, there will be a Serbian stream on YouTube hosted on the Fortune eSports channel. The tournament will start at 16:00 GMT (18:00 CEST, 09:00 PDT) and each match is set to last for approximately one hour.
