Laser Kittenz have secured a half million funding from JetSmarter. JetSmarter, which is also known as the Uber for private jets mainly caters to rich customers who want to hire private jets for their use. It can be for a corporate or for personal use.
It equips Laser Kittenz’ players and staff with an annual corporate membership status that allows them to use JetSmarter’s mobile app charter service and gives them access to the 35,000 hours of private flights that the company has pre-purchased for its customers.
This investment definitely puts Laser Kittenz in a strong position. It will be interesting to wait and watch if this translates into anything related to Overwatch league. Jetsmarter has been a recent company which equips people with the ability to hire jets for themselves.
