The developer of Fortnite, Epic Games has recently announced an upcoming limited time mode in the next few days. The official account of Fortnite recently tweeted some interesting emojis that are reference to the movie. The account tweeted money bags, a pencil and a man with a dog. This is more than a hint for the upcoming collaboration.

This emojis tweet is not the only hint. Since you can get a more concrete evidence by logging into the game. If you open Fortnite right now then you will be directed to a news section. This is new since it always happens as soon as you sign up. Yet, what catches our eye is the teaser of an upcoming event.

You will find an image with a black background and a letter “C” written in gold. This C hints to the famous Continental hotel that is one of the greatest attractions of the movies. The caption of the picture is ““Tick tock, Mr. Wick” which is screaming for an in-game event. Earlier today data miners also hinted this event.

We should prepare ourselves for a limited time mode that will include a bounty on the famous assassin. Some data minres have also found a new John Wick skin that is not at all similar ro the Reaper skin that the players got in season three as a tier 100 reward.  The miners have also hinted of black bing tokens that will enable the players to unlock new challenges related to the event.

On Friday 17th May, John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum is set to premier worldwide. Seeing this relaese date, we believe that the limited time mode will kick off by tomorrow evening i-e May 16th. It is not at all surprising to see Epic promoting the movie since the developer did something similar before the release of the  Avengers: Endgame. The studio also held a famous in-game Thanos event after the release of the Avengers: Infinity War in 2018.

New kill-record in Fortnite

Meanwhile, players Bawx and Colson broke the Fortnite world record for the number of homicides in duo on the PC. The two got 48 kills, which is two more than previous record holders.

Bawx could not provide a replay of the match on his behalf, because, according to the player, the match record was damaged. Nonetheless, if you are interested in seeing the game then you can look through Colson’s perspective. Record holders said they did not intend to break the record and are really amazed at the fact they achieved it.

The players also won the match yet it was not a necessary requirement to claim the record. Previously, various teams in Fortnite got more kills per game, but this was achieved in other game modes. We will have to wait and see if the duo is capable of establishing a similar record in the upcoming John Wick mode, since it will have its fair share of kills.
