The current iGame.com roster was put together in May 2018, however, they have been unable to get along. This has resulted in the organisation announcing the release of three of its players. They have not yet released Saggerton and Twista, with their fate still uncertain. The organisation might decide to form the new team around these two players, with input from the players on the choice of their colleagues.
The team had a lot of experience, yet they only managed to finish 3rd at NESA 2018. Even worse was their performance at MDL, where they managed to secure only the 25th position. They were out in the Group stage at the CPH Games BYOC tournament. Poor results and the lack of any cohesion amongst the team members forced this decision.
Here is the official statement from iGame.com:
We are sad to announce the disbanding of our CSGO team, within few months we played together we realized our visions were different about the future also chemistry of the team was not what we were looking for. With this announcement, we will be releasing Mikko “xartE” Välimaa, Jesse “KHRN”Grandell & Timo “REFLEX” Rintala from our roster. Future of Saku “SAGGERTON” Jokinen and Slaava “Twista” Räsänen in the team is yet unknown.
“We are reviewing our options to sign a new team in near future so stay tuned with us.
“iGame.com wants to thank xartE, REFLEX, and KHRN for their time with us and we wish the best of luck to them, also thank you all for supporting us in these ups and downs.
