HyperX, the HP peripheral brand, has added skateboard champion Minna Stess to its roster of ‘HyperX Heroes’ ambassadors.
Stess will wear and promote HyperX gaming headsets exclusively while taking part in various HyperX marketing initiatives, such as social activations and the ongoing ‘We’re All Gamers’ campaign.
With her new role as a HyperX brand ambassador, the 15-year-old star athlete will be able to display a HyperX sticker on her skateboard and benefit from a variety of HyperX products. Stess is the youngest member of the USA Skateboarding Women’s Park National Team at the time of this writing. She’s also competed in the X-Games and the Dew Tour, and she recently won the 2021 USA National Championships.

“As a female athlete in a male-dominated sport who also enjoys gaming, it’s very important to me to partner with companies that encourage diversity and inclusion for everyone,” said Stess. I’m excited to work with HyperX to break the mould and change perceptions while encouraging young women like myself to keep chasing our dreams.”
Stess joins a growing group of HyperX brand ambassadors from the gaming, music, and traditional sports industries.
HyperX’s celebrity and athlete marketing manager, Dustin Illingworth, stated: “HyperX remains focused on infusing industries within the gaming ecosystem and encouraging all gaming personalities to express themselves, and we are proud to welcome Minna to the ambassador family.”
It is an honour to have Stess on the HyperX team as an inspiration for young female athletes. Her humble, fun, and authentic nature will be a great fit for our growing gaming lifestyle brand.”
