The IEM Katowice 2019 will be the first Counter-Strike Major of 2019. Taking place in Katowice, Poland, this tournament will be an opportunity for teams to prove their potential. One of the participants in the Minor qualifiers, Luminosity Gaming has run into trouble over its roster registration for the minor qualifiers. All the teams participating in the tournament need to ensure the registration of their roster before the start of the qualifiers. There is a due date for the same and teams which fail to register within the due date might have to play with their registered roster.
It seems Henrique “HEN1” Teles from Luminosity Gaming has failed to register himself on the LG Roster before the deadline. It is an error on part of the player, an error which could potentially put Luminosity Gaming at a disadvantage. The team’s performance will be severely impacted as they don’t have the same synergy with others as they had with Hen1. He plays alongside his Twin Brother Lucas1 and the synergy developed over years is unmistakable.
. @ESLCS is not allowing HEN1 to play because he forgot to join the roster for the qualifier, he was already on the LG roster for EPL, which is a different group.
Everyone in the world knows that HEN1 is in contract with LG for a long time.

It is not ESL’s fault if they decide to not admit late entries
EVERYONE knows that he is playing for the team, it's not a roster move or anything like that.

ESL set out the rules for the Minor qualifiers very early. It is the responsibility of the player and the team management to ensure that all the players follow the rules. The roster lock deadline is equally important to manage the data and form the schedule accordingly. If ESL gives in to Luminosity Gaming, we will see similar situations in the future. In those cases, it would be unfortunate for ESL to be caught in the middle. They will set up a very bad precedent for themselves and for teams. We are not sure whether ESL will allow Hen1 to complete LG’s roster. But there is a high chance that they might stick to their rulebook for now.
