Broadcast channel GINX Esports TV has revealed a content agreement with esports analytics start-up Mobalytics.
Mobalytics and GINX Esports TV will partner on exclusive content that will be distributed on ginx.tv.
The content will initially be based on League of Legends and VALORANT. Moreover, the collaboration will seek to provide players with the knowledge that can be used to develop their gaming skills.
Solenne Lagrange, Marketing and Creative Director for GINX commented: “Mobalytics’ innovative and very high-quality approach to providing useful tips provides a powerful proposition for our ever-growing community of players.
“This new relationship with Mobalytics is a significant step in GINX’ ambitions to provide exhaustive, video-focused coverage of gaming and its competitive side to players. It naturally complements our already broad proposition of news, event-coverage, guides, and TV shows dedicated to esports lifestyle.”
Mobalytics offers a gaming companion app that provides real-time statistics, reviews, and tips for improving competitive results. The website group, meanwhile, provides guides for League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, VALORANT, and Legends of Runeterra. The player will then practice what they’ve learned by playing a browser game called ‘Proving Grounds’.
The relationship comes at a period of strategic development for both businesses. GINX Esports TV recently revamped its website, collaborated with esports talk show network Prediction, and entered into a monetization agreement with Venatus.
After winning the TechCrunch Disrupt Battlegrounds in 2016, Mobalytics has secured several collaborations with games publishers and received funding from T1 Entertainment & Sports earlier this year. In 2019, the organization became a partner of Riot Games’ LCS Scouting Grounds, offering statistical profiles of all competitors.
Mobalytics raised a further $11.25m (£8.78m) in July of 2020.
