The latest team to receive an invite to the IBuyPower Masters IV is Ghost Gaming. With this event, IBuyPower returns to organising CS: GO events after almost a year. They are one of the well-known organisations in CS: GO history, although not always for the best reasons.
The IBuyPower Masters IV will take place across two days from the 19th of January till the 20th. It will feature a total prize pool of $200,000. Eight of the top CS: GO teams will be in attendance at the event. The winner of the event receives half of the prize pool [ $100,000].
Ghost Gaming invited to IBuyPower Masters IV
Ghost Gaming is a Canadian dominant lineup which will see itself alongside stronger teams such as Astralis, Fnatic, Faze Clan etc. These are some of the best teams in the world and we don’t expect Ghost Gaming to possibly give them a challenge. But it will be a wonderful experience for the team as it prepares to make changes to its roster. We will most likely see the new roster in action at IBuyPower Masters IV. The new team will have to prove itself against the best teams in the world. They can manage to surprise a few teams, and it is totally possible due to the format.
The First tournament of 2019: A Glimpse into the next Major.
For most of the teams, IBuyPower Masters IV will be a glimpse into how Astralis prepares for the upcoming major. IEM Katowice 2019. They are currently the best team in the world with little in terms of competition. This tournament will also see Faze with their new roster. They recently let go of Karirgan from their team.
