As the playoffs of the LEC come to an end. We should have a comprehensive look into the strategy of the champions, G2 eSports. The EU side reigned supreme in the competition and will look to win the MSI 2019. The outplayed Origen in the Grand FInale of the Spring Split and established a formidable record. G2 ended the last game of the series in 18 minutes and 31 seconds making it officially the quickest game in the history of the League. The team took little to no time to win the title as they finished finale in under 75 minutes.
The team also reigned supreme in the league phase of the competition. The team secured the first spot a few weeks before the end of the season. It is fair to say that no one has truly matched the power of The Samurai. However, we believe that their first big test will be in the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational.

In the competition, G2 will compete against the reigning world champions, Invictus Gaming. While they will also face the might of the three-time champions, SK Telecom T1. Is G2 capable of winning against these world-class team? Let’s have a look at it.
Best Team in EU?
The current roster of G2 could possibly be the best in the history of the LEC. Since their mid laner, Rasmus “Caps” Winther, the MVP of LEC 2019 is yet to meet his match. While the ADC of the team, Luka “Perkz” Perković has perfectly adopted his new role and currently wreaks havoc in the bot lane.
The strength of the G2 side lies in their ability to win games with any champions they want. The team doesn’t rely on the meta the simply pick what they like to play. Their flexibility got them the trophy of the Spring Split and should be their secret weapon at the MSI. In one of their grand final games, the side picked a funnel composition. This meta was believed to be dead a few patches ago, yet G2 has wakened it from the ashes.

G2 knows how to keep their opponents on their toes. The team is reluctant to play in an aggressive style and are truly unpredictable. Yet they are also capable of pushing the games longer when they don’t dominate in the early game. This overall adaptability of the team could help G2 accomplish wonders at the MSI.
Caps Seeks Revenge
The star mid-laner Caps will surely have redemption on his mind after losing to Invictus Gaming in the Worlds 2018 final. He has the capability to become the best mid laner in the EU. But before that, he needs to prove himself on the International Stage. He was crowned the MVP of the Spring Split 2019. But we believe that he should aim for the MVP title at MSI to silence the critics.
This will surely be an exciting competition and rest assured that we will provide you with all the updates from start to finish.
