The EU side reigned supreme in the competition and will look to win the MSI 2019. The outplayed Origen in the Grand FInale of the Spring Split and established a formidable record. G2 ended the last game of the series in 18 minutes and 31 seconds making it officially the quickest game in the history of the League. The team took little to no time to win the title as they finished finale in under 75 minutes.
The team also reigned supreme in the league phase of the competition. The team secured the first spot a few weeks before the end of the season. The strength of the G2 side lies in their ability to win games with any champions they want. The team doesn’t rely on the meta the simply pick what they like to play. Their flexibility got them the trophy of the Spring Split and should be their secret weapon at the MSI. In one of their grand final games, the side picked a funnel composition. The star mid-laner Caps will surely have redemption on his mind after losing to Invictus Gaming in the Worlds 2018 final. He has the capability to become the best mid laner in the EU. But before that, he needs to prove himself on the International Stage. He was crowned the MVP of the Spring Split 2019. But we believe that he should aim for the MVP title at MSI to silence the critics.
