Denial Esports was one of the most well0-known organisations in the North American esports scene. A few years ago, they were in charge of several top-tier esports teams in multiple titles. However, poor management and lack of proper guidance saw these teams and the organisation as a whole fall into oblivion. There were multiple players who were unpaid their dues. Poor management by the then CEO Robby Ringnalda led the team into a downfall and they were on the verge of possibly going under.
However, in a turn of things, Denial esports has not only paid its former players all their dues, but it is also looking to revive the brand in esports once more. There is new management at the helm, CEO of MoneyMatches Zach Smith and Patrick ‘BlackBeardAP’ E. Smith Sr. have paid the debts owed to players.
The former CEO spoke up on Twitter recently apologising to everyone he has wronged int he past.
Made a lot of mistakes leading up to 2017. I'm sorry to anyone that I negatively affected with my mismanagement. @ZachtehCEO has righted all of my wrongs and is turning the Denial brand into what it once was in exchange for my ownership share. Now time to be a fan #wolfpack

His tweet was met with kind responses from the community. MoneyMatches CEO Zach Smith also responded saying everyone makes mistakes. He hopes that the esports community can accept his apology and continue supporting Denial esports.

It is heartening to see Denial back in esports. They were one of the few organisations which had a good reputation. For Zach, rebuilding their reputation and ensuring continuous support by fans is crucial to their future.
