FACEIT Major 2018 Main Qualifier will take place in London between 5 and 9 September, with 16 professional CS:GO teams competing for a place in the FACEIT Major 2018 event.

As already stated, the event will begin on 5 September and will go on until the 9 September. In that time frame, many of the top CS:GO professional teams will face off against each other. On the first day alone, 8 matches will take place. The format for the game is Best of One, with the winner taking a step closer to the finals.
The team roster includes:
- Space Soldiers
- Vega Squadron
The opening match will see Space Soldiers and Rogue facing off against one another, followed by Virtus.pro and NiP. After that, Gambit will go up against TYLOO and following them, BIG will test their mettle versus Renegades. At this point, half of the day will have passed, but there will be still just as many matches to look forward to. Vega Squadron will take on Spirit, after which North will face HellRaisers. Long-time fan-favorites Liquid and OpTic will go play in the second-to-last match of the day, while Astralis versus compLexity will be the cherry on top. The whole event will be spread across 12 consecutive hours, with one hour and 30 minutes reserved for each match. The stakes in this tournaments are high, considering that there are only 8 spots for the FACEIT Major 2018 to be split between 16 teams.
