TNC Predator had withdrawn from ESL One Hamburg on a very short notice. For the tournament organisers, this was a nightmare since they had to arrange for a substitute team almost immediately. Replacing TNC Predator will be EVOS Esports from South East Asia. The team secured the second place at the SEA qualifiers and will be attending the tournament.

The Indonesian team has a promising playstyle and definitely surprise their opponents. They were unable to win a single map to TNC Predator. The team’s performance might not seem as good as TNC Predator, and that is going to affect the quality of opposition at the event. But the young Indonesian squad will definitely see this as a great opportunity, especially when they are going to play alongside the likes of Virtus Pro, Evil Genius, Team Secret and the Ninjas in Pyjamas.
ESL One Hamburg 2018
ESL One Hamburg will start from October 23rd and continue for the duration of the week. The tournament will see several top teams in attendance at the event. The current DPC season will only have 5 majors and 5 Minors. However, if rumours are to be believed, then ESL might not see a single Major this DPC Season. Their decision to have a standalone event in the form of ESL One Hamburg 2018 and to invite the top teams is definitely adding validity to these rumours.
The Groups for ESL One Hamburg 2018 are now out in public domain. The twelve teams are divided into two groups of six each. Each of the two groups contains some really strong teams in the form of Virtus Pro, Team Secret etc.

Both the Groups look to provide some quality Dota 2 to the viewers. While at first glance, Group B might look the stronger of the two, the addition of EVOS Gaming seems to be a wildcard at the tournament. This tournament will provide us with a good interpretation of which team is going to come out ahead in the first few tournaments at DPC Season 2018-19.
