EnVyUs has announced its return to professional Counter-Strike with the pickup of a North American squad. EnVyUs has signed the former Splyce roster which had seen mediocre success in the past. They will sign several well-known players like JDM, Drone, Nifty, Cutler and Semphis.
With this return, EnVyUs has also claimed the 12th and final spot in the ESL Pro League – North America. Nifty was part of Team Renegades before this and despite a few promising starts, they never reached their true potential.
We’re excited to bring a talented roster of Counter-Strike players together to write the next chapter in Envy CS: GO history. Our priority was to sign a roster that would compete at the highest level and give our loyal fans a team to cheer on.
Mike Rufail, owner and CEO at Envy Gaming.
EnVyUs will now field North American teams
EnVyUs has primarily been associated with French Counter-Strike. The team has fielded several strong rosters with a lot of potentials. EnVyUs also won a CS: GO major in the form of Dreamhack Cluj-Napoca in 2015. But due to the various downfalls of the French CS: GO Scene, EnVyUs was never able to materialize their dreams of being the best team in the world. Over time, the French players saw a decline in their performance as EnVyUs saw minimal to no results.
The EnVyUS CS:GO roster:
- Taylor “Drone” Johnson
- Josh “jdm64” Marzano
- Noah “Nifty” Francis
- Steven “reltuC” Cutler
- Kory “SEMPHIS” Friese

All are individually talented share lots of experience between them. With a huge brand like EnVyus supporting their roster, they are bound to try to perform their best.
