The Dota2 Minor system will see several new tournaments being added to the tournament circuit. The next Dota2 minor which has all but officially been confirmed is the DotaPIT. For any third party event, Valve will match their contribution to the esports scene.

This has the potential to be extremely beneficial to the scene which was languishing with the step brotherly treatment last year from Valve. Valve definitely have stepped up their game and the format of the Dota2 minors and majors definitely adds a lot more oomph to the entire system
