The ROG Masters Regional finals will begin on the 3rd of November. With over $250000 on the line, this tournament will see close competition amongst the teams. Digital Chaos and Optic Gaming have both been invited to the tournament. A brief overview about the two teams from the ROG page :
After winning ESL One Genting in early August, Digital Chaos have only made it to the top 16 of both The Kiev Major as well as The International 2017. For the start of the new season, the roster has added MSS and DeMoN, who are going to try and help the American team live up to its former glory.
In late September, the fan favorite lineup of The Dire, featuring the TI panel guests Per Anders Olsson “Pajkatt” Lille and Peter “ppd” Dager, was signed by OpTic Gaming. It is the first involvement of the American organization in the Dota 2 scene. Going into the new season, fans are still unsure what to expect from this lineup that consists of players with both history and potential – is it a project on the side or a competitive comeback?
