David Swartz added to NRG roster. He is a 5 time Emmy award winner and has been critically acclaimed to be one of the best event managers in the country.
Quoting from the NRG website;
David Swartz is a five-time Emmy Award winning producer including “Best Feature Story” in 2002. His career began in Atlanta working for the Olympic Broadcast Committee and Turner Sports. In 1997 he moved to New York to help launch the Sports Illustrated for Kids Show on CBS and then went on to produce features, shows, and specials for CBS, ESPN, Turner Sports, and NBC where he served as a producer for NBC Olympics and Sports. He has covered five Olympic Games and nearly every major sporting event.
Swartz began his own production company in 2003 and then merged with 441 Productions. As Executive Producer, Coordinating Producer or Director, Swartz was involved in all aspects of the operation for over 10 years as the company produced a wide variety of series and shows including; The World Series of Poker on ESPN, Jim Rome on Showtime, Friday Night Tykes on Esquire, Making the Cut with Ray Romano and Kevin James on HBO, NHL 36 on NBC, The National Geographic Bee on National Geographic, MLS 36 on NBC, Hustling the House on Discovery, Game on America on Travel Channel, and NCAA 75 on CBS.
Swartz then headed to the West Coast to become the Vice President of Content Development and Executive Producer for the Sacramento Kings. In this role, Swartz served as the lead creative force in all in-game entertainment, videos, graphics, audio and digital/social content for the organization. Additionally, he supervised the AV and content integration for the opening and inaugural season of Golden 1 Center, the most technologically advanced arena in the world and the Sports Business Journal “Arena of the Year”.
