Cyborgmatt feels that at least one team will not be able to attend TI8 due to the visa issues. The Visa issues are a regular thing for the Dota 2 teams, but that being said TI is mostly held in the United States. As this year, it will be held in Vancouver there was an opinion that it would be easier for the teams to attend the event.

I don't know man, I have a feeling at least one team is going to get screwed and not have enough time to secure their visas before TI. The discrepancy between regions is pretty crazy. I would say it's even harder than getting a US visa for the majority of pro players.
